Clinique Anti-Blemish Liquid Make-Up

I held off testing this foundation for quite a while. Partly because I rarely wear foundation, but mostly because I hardly ever get blemishes. However, over the last few weeks I’ve been manically testing every single thing that has landed on my doorstep, and all of the testing has wreaked havoc on my skin! Lucky then, that I had the Clinique Anti-Blemish make-up on my desk – throughout the ridiculously hot weather at the beginning of the week it kept my skin oil-free and cool as a cucumber; blemishes have been effectively concealed, treated and have since disappeared.

Take a look at the video to see the finished effect – I’m an “illuminating-sheeny-glow” kinda girl myself, but this matte finish foundation has got me converted. Let me know what you think!

I love your reviews! Your skin is pretty remarkable – it’s such a great base. I think you work the matt look superbly. Next time I’m in boots I’ll definitely take a peep at this.

(p.s I just started my own beauty blog yesterday. If anyone fancies taking a peak, please do! I’m new to this blogging malarky and would love your feedback.)

clinique is really good but.. i can use that foundation, because I have really really dry skin… it’s like I can put on every day the whole time creams and it’s still dry :( so if I put on foundation, i’d have a creepy look :S

by the way, have you any tips for REALLY dry skin?

      Hi Diane,
What do you use on your skin at the moment? Has it always been dry? Lots of people have asked this – maybe I’ll do a post about it!

Oh a post about it would be a great idea..

Well what I mainly use is a calendula cream that hydratates and at times the shiseido cream of my mother.
Twice a week I but on for 10 minutes a mix of aspirine and honey, and other twice a week I us a homemade peeling made of honey, salt, sugar and almond oil.

Yet I-d have to peel and put creams every 2 hours for my skin not to dry out that much, but that-s complicated for me..

Also, I noticed that my skin became superdry since I-m taking the pill, but I didn-t thought that the it would really dry out that much.

I thank you with teary eyes.. ahaha
honestly, I first thought I had dermatitis (or how it’s called?), but all doctors just said it’s caused of stress and just gave me specific creams that made my skin go red..

I have this one in alabaster – it gives nice, moderate coverage, but my skin gets shiny too soon!
