Brenda Anvari Orange Blossom Body Balm
Do you remember me raving about Brenda Anvari’s Intensive Face Balm? Read here if not. It was like ten thousand oranges squished into a glass jar – orange juice for the face. Wonderful. My only wish for that particular balm was that it would come in a bigger pot so that I could baste my body in it – and guess what? It comes in a bigger jar! Obviously the Body Balm is a slightly different formula, but it smells equally amazing and leaves skin just as soft and nourished. The balm melts into an oil when it makes contact with the skin, but it’s far less messy than using a body oil.
The formula contains Sweet Orange essential oil, Mandarin essential oil and Petegrain essential oil and is ideal to use pre and post pregnancy to keep skin hydrated and supple. Great also for dry knees and elbows or any dryness for that matter – even on chapped hands during the cold winter months. I have it upon my hands now as I type, and it’s scenting the whole room with the most incredible fragrance. You only need a tiny amount – a blob the size of your fingertip will cover backs of hands, elbows and knees – and so this would last for a good while. Should you wish to slather it over your entire body on a regular basis, it won’t require a second mortgage; each 200ml tub costs £10.95.
