Love+Art Orange Flower Bath Oil
It has been a while since I mentioned Love+Art, which is quite shocking considering that I use a number of their products on an almost daily basis! If you have been with me since “the beginning” then you may remember reading about the wonderful floral waters that Love+Art produce – if you missed that particular example of prime wordsmithery, then you can see it here.
Just to remind you a little about Love+Art, it’s a very conscientious and ethical brand; all ingredients are organic, and can be traced from seed to bottle. There are no chemicals, and the production of the beauty range creates employment for the women of the Ourika valley, Morocco, helping them to sustain their own environment and participate in the development of that region’s economy.
It’s true that the packaging is basic; the plastic bottles are fully recyclable, the labels are simple in design, but the effort has gone into producing effective formulas with the least amount of ingredients. The bath oils are amazing; really fragrant and you only need a tiny squirt! I use the Orange Flower oil (my personal favourite, although there’s also a delectable Rose and a zingy Grapefruit) and my bathroom smells beautiful for days afterwards! It’s like a natural air-freshener that just seems to linger.
The bath oils are £35 each but I think that you could get the price-per-use down to around £1 a time, which is stunningly good value compared to many other premium bath oils. Have a peep at the website – I’ve included the link here because this brand is almost impossible to find on Google! www.loveandart.co.uk

Do these oils emulsify in the water (with the water, making it creamy) or does the oil just sit on top of the water. I am looking for something to make my bath water really soft/milk like. If not, do you know of any that do?
Thanks! Love your site
I think it depends also on whether or not your water is hard or soft (at least, in the UK!). In my water, it turns slightly milky, but above all, an oil is an oil and won’t dissolve into the water… I’ll have an experiment!
