Rococo Nail Apparel: Baby Metals and Nude Wardrobe

I popped down to the Sanderson this morning to meet the wonderful (and stunningly gorgeous) sisters behind Rococo Nail Apparel. Ange and Vernice have been professional manicurists for over 15 years and their own-brand polish, Rococo, is excellent; great staying power, easy-to-apply formulas and fashion-forward shades. The event was being held to introduce the new ‘Baby Metals’ polish – so metallic that they make nails look as though they’ve actually been gilded – but there was something else that caught my eye.

rococo nude nail polishA whole selection of nude shades that looked more like little bottles of foundation than nail polishes! Being a bit of a nude shade fanatic (and also incredibly nosy) I grilled the girls on future launches and it turns out that Rococo will be introducing something of a Nude Shade ‘Wardrobe’ with a whole array of different shades and undertones. It will be possible to match the polish to your skintone (making your nails look really elongated) or choose a contrasting colour (as I did) to really show off the shape of your nails.

Great for taking your nails through the tanned heights of summer and on into the blueish, freezing depths of winter! This set will hopefully be ready for our summer hols – I can’t wait!

The Baby Metals are priced at £12 and are available in SpaceNK or Agua at the Sanderson from next week.

Amazing! I love Rococo; it’s such a hidden gem and absolutely fantastic with it’s colour choices. This nude set sounds spot on. I’m digging that contrasting shade action going on there…

Love them, completely seriously obsessed with nudes, to the extent am pretty much prepared to overlook the fact that they may not suit me. Ask the lovely sisters to add matching lipsticks to their range next time you are lunching would you?!

    Hi Ruth,
I absolutely love nude polish. I’ve been looking for the perfect nude polish for ages now and I’ve already bought four different polishes but they weren’t quite right. The best of them was rimmel pro beige style which is the one I use the most. The polish that is on your nails in the picture is exactly the shade I’ve been looking for! Do you have to buy in store or is there a website? Xx
