Avon Anew Clinical Eye Lift Pro

For the last few weeks I have been testing out Avon’s Eye Lift ‘System’, a cream and a gel that promise to lift the eye area.  I kind of wish that it wasn’t in a dippy pot (or that anything came in a pot for that matter) but I do like having the gel and cream formulas side-by-side. I do my undereyes first with the cream, which is nice and rich, and then I do my eyelids (yes, lids!) and all the way up to my browbone with the gel. Some people won’t like the very slight stickiness from the gel, but I don’t mind it as it disappears reasonably quickly and doesn’t interfere with makeup application and so on. It’s the cream that I like best though – it absorbs easily and feels like it’s actually doing something! I find that my concealer goes on very nicely afterwards.

Has anyone else tried this? It’s not the smartest of eye creams in terms of packaging and presentation, but I do like the fresh feeling that it gives to my eye area. It’s not heavily scented, which is also probably a bonus for many. What say ye?

Avon Anew Clinical Eye Lift Pro (good name, that) is £13 (down from £19.50) at AvonShop HERE.

For everyone that has this, does it smell like perfume like other avon skincare? I have used samples of anew night cream in the past and I think it works, but it smells so strong it makes my eyes water.

Thank you for your replies :)

I swear by Avon anew skincare, I have been using it for years. I think sometimes people are put off by the fact that it’s “Avon” and not a high end brand, but the technology and the ingredients and the results are just as good.

  4. What a great review for Avon :-) my mum loves this product and would buy it in buckets if she could lol

I have to say I have been LOVING the morning email-sending! I read your Daily Fix every morning from bed now. Even though I can’t afford all the lovely things you post about, I get to feel all blissed out anyway reading about them from the comfort of bed :) best executive decision ever!

I’ve just finished mine! I really like both formulas and they did the job of keep my very dry eyes reasonably moisturized. Lasts for quite a while too! I would buy it again but want to try something new instead.

I have just started as an AVON rep and have been surprised at how popular this product it! I haven’t tried it personally but have had nothing but raving reviews – especially at it’s new discounted price for this campaign!
Another top quality, affordable product from AVON

  10. Really don’t like jars either BUT I am liking this mini trend towards duo products at the moment. I’ve noticed quite a few around & think it’s a fab idea.

I’ve been using Vissionaire Lancome’s new skin corrector for wrinkles, pores & unevenness. This can be used around the eye area, which is great as I have some very fine lines there. You can feel this tingle for first minute or two. Its only just out, so a bit too soon for me to say YES, it does something. But will use it all before making judgement.. of yay or nay

I remember trying this years ago when it first came out! I liked the feeling also but loved the cooling feeling of the gel! TBH that is all I can really remember about it? I think I then started using other brands and tbh havn’t brought any avon for a good 2-3 years. So I can’t really remember much about it apart from what I have said. If I remember correctly also it did have a slight lifting effect or that was one of the things it promised and BTW I remember it did last quite a while also. Crikey you are only just testing this out Ruth? It’s been out for at least 3 years probably longer time is flying by at the moment last year seems like last week at the moment! LMAO! xxx

I have this and really like it. I tend to use the cream at night and gel in the mornings as i like how refreshing it feels. Saying that im not using it at the moment. It seems to take me forever to get through an eyecream xx

Peculiar enough I’ve alse been trying this one for 2 weeks now. I also like the cream better – the gel is ok but a bit sticky and not moisturizing enough for me. The cream has a light scent that I like and sinks in fast, although after 2 weeks it’s a bit soon to tell. I’m also not a fan of jars.
