Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Cleanser

Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Cleanser I have been testing out teen products for my upcoming teen skincare video, and this was a cleanser that really stood out for me. (I know that I don’t have the same skin as a teen, but I’m testing various things alongside my teen guinea pigs!) It leaves skin very, very clean and almost tight, but I don’t find it drying. Perhaps somebody with dry skin would, but as it stands I think that this cleanser will definitely be going in to my teen video! It has a really creamy texture that I find enjoyable to use, and it removes eye makeup without stinging the delicate eye area. It’s probably on the steep side for a teen to purchase (£16.95) but far more worthwhile than some of the rubbish that seems to be on the shelves! I have tested a few cleansers that are basically fairy liquid with a bit of perfume thrown in! This would be a good basic for someone suffering with breakouts as it cleanses without stripping, so skin doesn’t go into overdrive producing a load of oil to compensate for the cleansing action.

I gotta say if you want to try Paula’s Choice, you have to be careful! I broke out terribly after using their products, despite VERY high review on makeupalley. I would recommend you try the samples first.

Can’t wait for your teen skin video, will you be including stuff for teens with normal skin that suffer the occasional breakouts? Because the only stuff for normal skin I see ends up having anti-agers in, which I really think are I waste of time seeing as I’m only 16 xxx

PC is one of my fave skincare brand ever! it’s loaded with goodness like antioxidant and anti-irritants, and it’s totally compatible for sensitive skin.

PC alone won’t smooth out my skin, however. i still have to do other round of serums/manual exfoliation, but at least PC products without a doubt forms a foundation of my skincare cabinet :D

I have been using paula’s choice for the last 18 months, I was having seriously bad problems with my skin, I use the clear normalizing cleanser, the balancing toner and my skin has never been so clear.

I really recommend you try out her clear normalizing cleanser for the teen vid as well as her bha 2% gel, that really made a difference on my skin! (that and the occasional benzoylperoxide cream use) I really can’t recommend these two products enough!!

By the way, I’m 25, so the products work for ages.. (unfortunately acne is limited to age either apparently….)

I really love her 2% BHA liquid and its helped keep my deep whiteheads under control. I have really lazy skin that needs all the exfoliation and pore cleaning help it can get. Doesn’t completely clear me up, but its been the best to manage the issue that I have found. Although a friend of mine who I turned onto it has even commented that she doesn’t get pimples anymore…We are late 20’s but I don’t think this would make a difference.
