    Hi Ruth,
I love this look. May I ask which shade of glimmerstick you used?

Now that I have rewatched the first video, paid better attention: I imagine it is the Saturn Grey Glimmerstick.

All your nail colors are great. Do you buy one colour and wear it till you tire of it or do you have a lot of colors and keep switching often?
I ask because I keep switching often but I am unable to store them well and find them difficult to use with time. So I was thinking of going one by one. Any ideas?

@Poorani well, I have a lot of nude/natural colours and rarely wear wacky shades, so I do tend to use them up before they go funny! There are some casualties, but not many! x

@Sarah don’t know yet – it’s about a one in fifty chance, the odds are never great. The life of a model… x

love the sweater (and the whole look!). Is the ASOS sweater by Vila?

Am also on the lookout for the chanel bronze universel (since about a year!) it looks as if nothing has yet surpassed it so I should get on and buy it.

Hope the casting went fantastically well!

Hey Ruth. I think it would be cool to do a waxing vs. shaving video. Like the pros and cons of each and also good pre and post wax/shave products to use. An updated What’s In My Bag would be cool too X

@AMRFan as I have never waxed and am never intending to, this video is NEVER going to happen! Sorry to disappoint! ; )

    Hi Ruth,
I want to buy that By Terry foundation but I have to order it online. I’m between NC 30 and NC 35, and I wear Chanel foundations in shade B40 so would you recommend me to get By Terry foundation in shade 10?
    Thank You,

    • Ruth
      March 31, 2012 / 5:15 pm

@Nurdan I’m 20-25 and wear 9, but would probably be better in 8 for winter.. 10 sounds good?! x

I bought the Dior Rosy Glow blusher after seeing this, and must say it’s one of the best I’ve used in ages…it’s a soft colour but it does make one look more ‘alive’, but without having a really shiny discoball effect, I hope they make it a permanent product :) x

      @Emma it’s great, isn’t it?! x

It is, I imagine it would suit most skin tones too. I feel like Snow White or something in it, haha! x

    Hi Ruth,

I love watching your videos but this is the first time I’ve commented…I just wondered what your thoughts were on the YSL Top Secrets Skin Flash Brush v. Dior Skin Flash Primer Skin Glow? – I am thinking of investing in one, but can’t decide which to go for.

I am 21 with sensitive, combination/dry skin. Thanks in advance for your help! x

    • Ruth
      April 11, 2012 / 1:41 pm

@Annabelle good question! Well. The Dior imparts much more of a sheen, in my opinion – the YSL is more skin-carey. I would probably go for the Dior as you’re only 21 – the YSL is a bit more adept at smoothing the skin before makeup but the Dior has more glow factor! xx

Sounds like Dior it is then, thanks Ruth! I’ve just seen that it is also cheaper than YSL, so helps with the student budget too! x

Do you prefer this chanel bronzer or nars laguna? X

    • Ruth

@Anna they are very different! Laguna is far deeper and more obvious! xx
