Omorovicza Essentials Kit

I know I only mentioned this Omorovicza kit yesterday, but I am utterly obsessed, so here it is in a little more detail.

I’m so, so pleased that I discovered this kit from Omorovicza. I took it to L.A. with me and, without sounding like a twerp, it made a vast difference to my “beauty experience”. Usually I have to leave the luxury luxuries at home because they always come in really heavy packaging, which isn’t ideal for travelling. Now and then, I’ll decant into little travel pots, but the problem with that is that I get home and forget what’s in the little pots! So it was great to have my pampering products at hand when I was jetting about – a spritz of Queen of Hungary mist at regular intervals did wonders for the skin and soul!

So I like to have mini versions of the full-sized products, with at least a label to identify what’s inside. Even better when the minis are light, travel-friendly versions with actually quite amazing volumes! The Queen of Hungary Mist, for example, is 30ml, retail value approx £14. The two moisturisers are 20ml each, retail value approximately £38 (for the Rejuvenating Night Cream) and £34 for the Illuminating Moisturiser.

Then there are two extremely cute little pots of the thermal cleanser, which is excellent, and a luxury face mitt. I’m trying to work out what the sachets are in the photograph – I’m pretty sure they didn’t come in my pack, unless I threw them out with the foam packaging. I hope not! Anyway, the retail value of the kit is well over what it sells for, and at the moment it’s on offer at £50 instead of £75. Quite a good way of giving some of the range a try if you don’t want to fully commit to a massive moisturiser!

Omorovicza Essentials Kit is £75  £50 at Omorovicza.com

Hi, I’m a Sisley girl but I can imagine to try another brand. If you had to compare these two brands, is Omorovicza comparable to Sisley? Thankyou. Have a nice day.

    Hi Ruth,

Unrelated to todays post but, can you recommend some decent make-up brushes that aren’t extortionate to buy? Also, what would you consider to be the essential brushes to have in your kit? Do you always use a foundation brush?

    Thank- you

@Lisa my most used would be eye brushes and a big powder brush. I rarely use others, in all honesty, except if I’m doing a video and being more “pro” and precise! (trying.) Japonesque are absolutely amazing. You can get in John Lewis and Boots! Must do a post on them actually.. x

I’ve been taking products in and out of a cart on Omorovicza for weeks now and finally bit the bullet and ordered. Yay!!! Am sooo looking forward to it!

They are also including a free self-tanner (worth about $80 if I’m not mistaken) and I would so love it if you could give us some sort of hints about that product. I’m not the most accomplished of self-tanning people and am never comfortable with tanning my face. Any info appreciated, Ruth! Thanks.

(By the way, for no reason whatsoever, I hit my name on another post and got a warning about going further because of cookies or something else that made it clear that one must go on only if you knew it is a safe site – soothing like that. I’d like to let all know that my site on blogspot is clean and clear and I’m working very hard to keep it that way, constantly. I very much love seeing that some fellow fans of AMR check out my crazy site and would really hate anyone to think that there is a problem. All is well, really!

Thanks everyone! Because of your support, my nine-week old blog is doing pretty well, though I must admit that every minute I fear I’ll never get another reader again! Sorry, Ruth, to take this place to clear that up, but your blog has become part of my life and I do love everything about it, including your readers! There was, (sigh, another btw) earlier today when I wasn’t thinking and made a mistake in my website address somewhere – cookery post I believe – because my iPad sometimes has a mind of its own and takes over. Again, please be assured that my blog is safe and pretty NORMAL! Thank you and so very sorry all!)

I’ve just had to order this…I’ve been loving the complexion enhancer and want to try the mist and the day cream. I got some sachets of complexion enhancer and the night cream in the “gift with purchase” bag of little goodies recently, maybe they are similar in the pic. As a New Zealander its always great to see our airline doing well overseas. I always fly AirNZ when I can ;) Pleased to hear your kiwi experience was good

All your recent talk about Omorovicza has me DYING to try this brand. I know I’ll regret it because I’ll probably fall in love with it and it’s just so pricey…but hopefully worth it?? :D

    Hi Ruth,
On a ‘product’ related note, I was wondering if you’d be able to explain what ‘micellar water’ is, whether it would help oily skin, and if you could recommend any good ones? Thank you so so much. Big love for the blog and the videos!

I am falling in love with these products. I bought the travel kit and am obsessed. I have now purchased the cleansing balm and scrub. They include a free mask which is awesome. I want very very much to hear your further reviews on any omorovicza products. I am considering buying the peel but they are all pretty costly and hope they are well worth it.
    Thanks
