Lubatti Orange and Jojoba Day Moisturiser

Another nice light moisturiser for the summer months – I’m nearly all the way through this one! It’s very fragrant (oranges) and has the most delectable texture – like lightly whipped cream! I find that it moisturises well but leaves absolutely NO residue on the skin, so makes for an excellent makeup base. It’s not a mattifier, per se, but it certainly won’t add any shine.

Simply gorgeous. £30.50 with free worldwide delivery from

You can also get this direct from the Lubatti website – take a look at their night cream too, it’s amazing.

that sounds so good! Have you checked hautelook out yet? They just got Votre Vu Skincare in and i was wondering if you ever tried it? Overything they have looks so fruity and yummy. (not that we;d eat it of course!)

    Hi ruth,
I really rate all your recommendations, I was wondering if you could do a post or video on Summer/Holiday Makeup, things that are heat-proof and you would bring to a tropical place, etc? I think something like what you filmed at santorini last year would be great!

I’m certainly not Ruth but I just got back from 5 weeks on an island off the coast of South Carolina and did a blog post on my favorite melt-proof makeup.

I love the smell of oranges.. So if they have body creams I will be straight there.. I know you love rose, Ruth my weakness is orange fragranced creams and lotions. :D xx

Ooh this sounds yummy! I’m going to add this to my list. I’m about to make my annual trip home to the UK where i try and buy as many beauty products as I can, living in Bahrain there are so few brands available here and at least double the price. Ive been searching your blog over the last few weeks for the must-haves, dangerous move, my list has grown to gigantic proportions! My beauty budget has soared since I started reading your blog, but it has to be said I feel all the more radiant for it, so for that I’m eternally grateful! Excellent blog and I just adore your sense of humour Ruth, it really does make for very pleasant reading! Xxxx

Thanks Rebecca! I keep meaning to put together a “what to buy in London” post – maybe I shall do that soon! xx
