The YSL Swimming Pool Makeup Tutorial

YSL Swimming Pool

I first filmed this tutorial in Greece, but when I got ALL THE WAY HOME I realised that the application part hadn’t filmed properly! So it has taken me a while to get the finished video to you – some will remember the original teaser pics on Instagram. July, was it? Oh well. I actually think that this look suits Autumn better anyway. It’s kind of bold, but I really do think that I’ll wear it again – it’s easy to do and you don’t have to worry about hair, which is just slicked back. Hurray!

If you can’t see the video, then you can click this link right HERE – product info, as always, is beneath the video pane.

  1. You look gorgeous in that pic!

  2. Great tutorial and thanks for the tips! :) What was your favourite product out of all the make up that was used to create this look?

  3. luxe, love it. Must admit, I love a blue mascara/eyeliner too xxx

  4. So refreshing to see you actually wearing some makeup, Ruth- your natural look is always lovely and flattering, but sometimes, especially when you’re a young model (!!), jazz things up some and go BIG. I love it and it looks not at all clown-ish or crazy, just pretty!! Thanks for the post xoxo Beth in Pgh ;-)

  5. Great replication! I love the makeup you used for this look.

  6. You look just like my mom’s wedding pics, in that makeup–it’s uncanny!
