d.j.v. Beautinizer Mascara – Love it or your Money Back!

best mascara in the world

I thought that this offer might interest anyone who has been sitting on the fence about d.j.v. Beautinizer Mascara. I’ve gone on about the Volume Lash version forever; it’s one of my most-used makeup products. It coats the lashes with a kind of film rather than a liquid mascara – it won’t budge even if you sleep in it or take a shower. To remove it you need to press a warm facecloth over the eyes and hold it on for a good ten seconds or so. Much kinder to the lashes than constant pulling and scrubbing, I think!

At the moment Cult Beauty are doing a money-back guarantee on this mascara – if you don’t like it then you can return it within 10 days for a full refund. Risk-free beauty shopping – I like it! The offer also applies to the Fibre Wig version which is less volumising, more lengthening. Both are great, but I prefer the Volume Lash – it has more of an effect. You can see my full review on it here, and if you type d.j.v. beautinizer into the search box all of my videos and mentions will be listed.

  1. Hi Ruth,

Your before and after pics from the original review was just amazing. Does it hold a curl though?

  2. Argh, I wish I hadn’t tried the DJV volume lash before this offer! I’d have sent it back. I have reasonably long lashes but by no means spectacularly.. Tried applying this mascara every which way I know and it still comes out overly thick and clumpy so I have to comb the lashes quickly post application and it still gives me spider lash! To make matters worse it then leaves me with lots of black bits to clean up and then continues to flake and mess up my face during the day plus I didn’t find it stood up well to heat or any amount of humidity. So disappointed as I was keen to try something that claims to condition the lashes but now I think I will just stick to Clinique’s mascaras to avoid more pandaisation! Also – not sure about the lack of ingredients listed or why there’s no testing noted – does anyone know about this stuff?

  3. Hey Ruth! Just wanted to thank you for your last cultbeauty offer (the goody bag). The products I get to try are amazing (new things have been added on my wish list ;). Especially the Alison Raffaele reality base foundation, bliss mask and the djv beautinizer mascara. :D

  4. I love the Volume Lash mascara! I have short, sparse and blonde lashes but with this I feel like I’m wearing fake ones! I like the Fiberwig one too but although it’s great at lengthening my lashes it doesn’t add much volume.

  5. I’m still searching for the definitive mascara so this sounds like an intriguing offer, thanks for showcasing it, Ruth. I thought I’d found it with Benefit’s ‘They’re Real’ but found it tricksy to apply myself, I looked like Fenella Fielding lol!

    • Not into the Benefit one AT ALL! x

    • I have heard a lot of people lose eyelashes with the Benefit! Or, at least they say they get really crispy and break off? Did that happen to you at all? I am terrified to ever touch ‘They’re Real!’

  6. I love the volume lash mascara it makes my lashes look huge but the only negative is it gets clumpy very quick, I feel like after 3 weeks I need a new one, which is a shame because it is by far the best mascara I have ever used.

    • That’s weird! I find that it stays very “moist” (hate that word!). Is it just around the lid? x

      • Around the lid and the brush seems to go clumpy I get about 3-4 weeks good use really, doesn’t stop me buying it though! I keep this more for nights out now and use the loreal telescopic for daytime x

  7. Hi Ruth, I have been a long time reader but never really commented before. You are such a cool cat! Sorry that this question isn’t related to this specific post, but I wondered if you had any recommendations for fine lines on forehead (I can defo see them!)? My skin is combination and blocks easily but is rather sensitive and reactive (I used skinceuticals epidermal repair as my moisturiser) so I was thinking more of a serum or something a long those lines (although typical anti age products tend to bring me out in spots or blocked pores). Anyway, sorry for the long post, but any advice would be super appreciated. Kelly xxxx

    • Sorry, I should have said I am 28 with fair skin. Xxx

      • You’re using sunscreen, right? Just have to check because you’re fair! What do you use in terms of SPF and what tends to break you out? A certain ingredient? xx

        • Thanks for your reply Ruth. Yeah, I use Clinique city block SPF 40 every day or complete block when abroad. I’ve tried loads of sunscreens ranging from things like instituit esterderm to more natural based ranges but city block seems only one not to break me out ( I like a separate moisturiser to sunscreen). I’ve not found one ingredient that breaks me out yet but I have reacted to loads of stuff ( I have been patch tested five times now). I have rosacea on my cheeks but I do get just normal blocked pores on forehead and chin rather than rosacea. Sorry, I know it is hard for you to give recommendations when so much is wrong or tricky but any advice would be really appreciated ( or as me and the girls say, would get the paws up!) xxx
