Sunday Tittle Tattle: A Day In My Life

two under two vlog

Look, I’ve already posted this video over on my baby blog, The Uphill, but it takes me ages to do these “day in the life” videos and so I’m touting it out.

It’s an entire day in my life with “two under two” (New Baby Ted was just nine weeks old!) and has cameos from both Mr Bear the cat and Dexter the dog as well as a monologue about my left breast and some epic stair-climbing from Angelica. I did film two months ago, so it’s a little outdated, but if you fancy peeking behind the scenes into my “other life” then it’s a nice one to watch. Enjoy…

I love this. It brought back so many memories. I have three girls and had three under five at one point, which I barely remember! The juggling, the guilt, the tv, the boredom, more guilt, relief when husband came home. Fun too at times but often just a mega slog. I just love your honesty most of all, it’s so refreshing. Thank you Xxx

It is so refreshing that your “other” life is so relatable. Running up and down the stairs while trying to keep two kids from harming themselves is pretty much my whole weekend.

Haha!! That was definitely my weekend… though just one running, I was carrying the other! x

This was such a cute video. My son is just a couple months younger than Angelica; it’s such a magical
But difficult age! Bravo to you for rating so calm all alone. I’d lose my shit!

I just stumbled across this video and can’t thank you enough. I’m working from home with an active one year old and this captured how I feel daily with just the one (soooo much respect to those that even think about having another at this stage!). I’ve been feeling out of sorts, not myself and generally a bit shit and this video helped me re-assess and know it’s normal and part of mum life and not just me. I wasn’t expecting to feel so much better after watching it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I do have 4 years old twins and I still chase them, the days get better as they grow up but mom never gets a rest and sleeping well at nights is a FAR memory :)
I follow you for so long, before the pre-war (I mean pre-child) times.
Glorious days but I still enjoy your posts, laugh amd relate to your life.
Can you share your pasta recipe please?
    Huge hugs!!! ❤
