Bertie Pico Sandal

Bertie Pico SandalI think I may have got this year’s ‘comfy summer sandal’ sorted. Already. Usually I wait until about July, when it’s sweltering hot and all of the sandals have sold out, so I’m pretty proud of myself. Bertie have some very funky shoes in for this summer, but I went for quite a sensible style because I have problems with the fancier ones; either you have to bunch your toes up to keep them on, or they make you trip over paving stones, or they hurt you between the toes. Not so with these ones! Sturdy, leather, nice decorative ‘corsage’ on the ankle, zip up the back to ensure a safe and comfortable fit..

I think that they look very pretty on – terrible in the website photo! The leather looks too dark – it’s actually a very light tan colour, bordering on ‘nude’. I think that these will make a very versatile summer sandal, especially once I have a gorgeous neon nail polish on my toes!

These were £75, but I just checked on the website for images and they have been reduced to £60!
