Best of Spring Makeup Collection

face makeup review

Stupidly, I tidied my beauty room in a hurry. I mean “tidy” in the loosest possible sense of the word, because what I really did was open up all of the drawers in my storage units and sweep everything into them. This doesn’t bode well for any product that has less than eye-catching packaging; I fear that a good few “springtime” products will not re-emerge until late summer. Such is the way when a life is as disorganised and chaotic as mine – I keep finding boxes of various suntan lotions that were intended for my 2011 SPF feature!

To cut a long story short, this Spring Makeup Collection Video is missing a few vital ingredients and I apologise for that. What it does include, however, is a little selection of my favourite springtime bits and pieces – the prettiest palette, the plumpiest lip gloss… You’ll see that the foundaiton of choice is, once again, Dior’s Forever – I can’t seem to stay away from this stuff! I do adore my By Terry but for a flawless, velvet-matte finish the Dior is unbeatable. It has a more workable, natural texture than Chanel’s Perfection Lumiere, just in case any of you were wondering, but I suppose that I should really do a dedicated review. So I will.

Enjoy the video – the “doing makeup” parts are a lot prettier than the “finished look” parts because I did something odd with my lighting and also let my hair down so that I looked like the Wicked Witch of the West. When I get my permanent hairstylist (same time that the yacht, butler and chauffeur  will appear, ie never) every video will see me perfectly coiffed. Until then, you’ll have to suffer my messiness.
