I have found my fashion fix of the season; Current/Elliott’s Tuxedo Leggings. Soft, comfortable trousers with a ‘jegging’ shape and brilliant shiny tuxedo strips down the sides. They are so, so flattering! You will be seeing a lot of them this winter, I assure you – not only do they add a little extra to the standard ‘skinny jean’ staple, they are ridiculously comfy. They have a wider than usual waist to allow for muffin tops – what a touch! – but it doesn’t gape in the slightest, and the trousers/leggings/jeans don’t fall down or sag. I love them so much – I have been stuck at the desk so they are still in the bag, but I can’t WAIT to put them on with some cool boots and a rock ‘n roll tee! I can also see myself wearing these for smart occasions – the stripe adds a little glamour, I feel. Time for an ‘Outfit Of The Day’ post soon, methinks!
I got my Tuxedo Leggings from The Dressing Room in St Albans the other day – you’ll be seeing more about that, because I shot a little video of myself in the changing rooms and trying on outfits! You can see the jeans/jeggings/trousers online here at The Dressing Room – they are £185 and I think I took the last size 27! Ooops. Click the link to see proper photos and a close-up of the detailing. They come up pretty true to size, I’d say – I’m a 27 in most jeans. I could perhaps have managed a 26, but there wouldn’t have been that little bit of room for gut expansion. (DID I JUST SAY THAT?)
Anyway, hurrah for me – I had been looking for some ritzy black trousers, and now I have them! Next on the list: something with sequins. I shall keep you updated…
