Monthly Favourites – With My Mum!

Ruth Crilly Model and Christine Mum

A favourites video with a difference this month: say hello to my Mum! Some of you may know her already from her blog, My Mum Says – if you haven’t read it then do have a little look, I’ll pop the link underneath the video pane. My Mum is almost as obsessed with lovely beauty things as I am – she has quite similar tastes, too, though her skincare routine is obviously a little different. There are quite a few things in her makeup bag that I also use on a regular basis – the Omorovicza Complexion Enhancer is on both of our “can’t live without” lists – but there were a few surprises, including a Benefit eye palette that looked as though it had been manufactured in the 18th Century.

I have all of my fingers and toes crossed that the right video appears below; there’s been a massive Youtube glitch recently which has meant that all of my video screens have been playing the latest video upload, rather than the ones they are supposed to be playing! Very annoying, but let’s hope that they sort it out soon. If it’s not the right video, then you can view the correct one by clicking this link:

I should add, too, that I filmed, edited and uploaded this video from the iPad Mini that I got for my birthday from Mr AMR. It’s sometimes a little funny with how it adjusts to tiny changes in the light, but overall the quality is pretty good. Let me know what you think – obviously it’s more for emergency purposes, really, as I have my big Canon DSLR, but I think that it produces quite a clear sound and picture for such a tiny thing!

Right, here we go. Prepare to meet the Mother – all on your best behaviour, please!
