Cape Cod does have a lot of sharks nowadays, so much so that we actually have an app here to track them! It's called Sharktivity and I check it religiously. I also mostly just wade in the water and do a constant little dance to keep the sharks on their toes XD
Catherine Newman is such a wonderful writer, I just devoured her books and can't wait for Wreck. She also has a great Substack where she comes across just as you'd hope - warm, funny, irreverent. Just a thoroughly good egg!
Ruth, your posts are getting dangerous! Last month it was the teatowels (I got them in green, and I adore them), this month the wattle roller! If it was under £20 I would have ordered without a second thought. As it is (£36, ouch) I've added it to my wishlist (along with the root-lifting spray) to order when I feel I need a treat. And Sandwich has joined the other 80 books on my TBR.
