Am looking forward to your follow up. I had it done 10 years ago, and it was life changing. HOWEVER…. They are degrading again. I was shortsighted (-4.5 prescription). Got back to virtually 20:20 but am now back to -1.5. Just bad enough for daily glasses wear and have to legally wear them to drive. I am SO annoyed. Bit optician said it’s likely screen use - especially during pandemic when I did 12+hour days all on screen.

I am so interested in this. I have high myopathy (-6) in both eyes, astigmatism and posterior vitreous detachment in one eye. I’ve worn glasses since I was 9 and lenses since I was 15. My eyes are not great with my contacts now, too dry I think, but I need to wear them for the gym, playing tennis etc and I wear my glasses for work. I am SO BORED of having shit eyes. I am 48 and know that my eyes will get worse over time even if I have surgery but this has galvanised me to contact the clinic and at least talk to them about whether or not my eyes are suitable. I honestly can’t imagine what life would be like without my eyesight being a total faff and pain.
