Here’s an exclusive extract from my book, How Not to be a Supermodel. In this part of my chaotic and perilous modelling journey I am flown back from a financially fruitless month-long stay in New York, put straight onto the Eurostar to Paris and sent to lodge at a deserted boarding house of horrors that may or may not have previously “disappeared” its previous guests. Enjoy.
Loved your reading of the book Ruth.
Listened to the book on audible and loved it.
But I think the recoding is a little corrupted.
I felt as though sometimes the chapter ended abruptly but I’m not sure.
Where this definitely happened was in the epilogue and acknowledgment- the both ended half way, mid sentence and story not completed.
I even rewound it to listen again but got the same abrupt ending.
Had anyone else experienced that?
Oh wait the epilogue too? That shouldn’t happen… it seems fine on audible?
Yes on Audible
I thought it ended mid sentence ….
It just ended so abruptly
If it was supposed to be a LOL it got lost in translation 😮💨
Yes it’s supposed to be! The editor cuts me off. If you reread the acknowledgements it’ll make sense, it was a joke x
Ordered on kindle now! I remember Place du Clichy when it was the not so nice bit of the 17th arr.
Has it improved? Place du Clichy? X
Such a great book Ruth - I’m forever lending it out to friends :-)
Thank you Jane! X
The glamour! It must have been terrifying.
Mostly due to my overactive imagination…
