Here’s my summer reading stack. Because I can’t talk about my own book forever. (Or can I? It was a number one bestseller on Amazon this week! Fashion and beauty!)

I haven’t started these books yet because I only bought them last week and I’m still finishing off something so boring that it is actually draining me of any enthusiasm for more reading. I should just abandon ship, really, but I have that whole sunk cost fallacy thing going on.

To access all posts, consider a subscription upgrade. It’s the blogging equivalent of getting at-seat drinks service and a dedicated departures lounge. Bit of extra legroom. Hot flannel upon takeoff.

Anyway, I am massively looking forward to getting stuck into this lot - you might think seven is a bit optimistic, seeing as though the kids break up from school on Friday and my time will almost entirely be taken up with making snacks, asking children to finish the snacks they’ve nagged for and then thinking about which snacks I’ll have to make next, but once I’m on my summer reading roll there’s no stopping me!

Feel free to use this book stack as your own holiday reading inspiration. (Once you’ve read the ultimate summer hit, How Not to be a Supermodel, obviously.) I’m going to post the official blurb for each book and then my expectations; let us revisit this list in September and see how I got on.
