The title of this post makes it sounds as though the contents are going to be really profound; that my earthly existence has in some way been altered or redirected as a result of my Christmas reading sessions.
I'm now left hanging, "Do I want a drizzle, a pamphlet, or a prolific cry". So hard to choose because I am also battling with cumulative parenthood tiredness (the medical term is CPT). I managed one book over Christmas (A Christmas Carol, which I should have probably read a million years ago), so three books really sound like a miracle.
My 5 yr old, Margot, has named her Kitten (Princess) Leia !! (Totally un-prompted, I should add. ) I have long been a Big fan of Carrie Fisher, and the way she wrote, and now I want to re-read all her books again! XX

Why am I so excited by the fact that my daughter is also called Margot AND she is five?!
Great name!
I read the Princess Diarist over Christmas! Saw Harrison in a while new light😅.
Oooooh! Really? God I had such a crush on him in the eighties!!
Saaaame!
I agree Kent Haruf is brilliant. I also loved Our London Lives. I love your recommendations so keep them coming.
Thanks Hilary, will do!
