As long as I can keep up with all things 'techy', and my mind doesn't succumb to an overload, I'm here for the duration.....mine that is!

Have always loved your writing! Years ago I had an app that had all the links to my favourite blogs…then it disappeared and I couldn’t figure out how I’d keep track of them (lost most)! I think this platform will enable me to keep all my favourite ‘writers’ in one place. Keep being fabulous :) x

I hope so - I am really getting into it, actually! I have about seventy emails a day from various writers but kind of like it!

As always Ruth, highly highly entertaining. You completely crack me up! I loved reading over the description of your transition from model to blogger - that point at which we first met. And after many years of giving media and models facials you were one of the first ever 'bloggers' on my bed. But guess what, I had to ask the agency who usually sent me models what the hell a blogger was! Talk about a dinosaur - and I still am one! However, I am all for Substack and hope to embrace it myself one day soon. So glad you are now in the Mall as well as round the back of the cinema. Thanks for helping me understand - in the funniest way possible - where Substack sits in the scheme of things Xx

Your newsletter is one of about three that I religiously read all the way through on the day that it lands in my inbox (and that's saying something in this 'Save for Later' world). Yes, you’re funny and irreverent and down to earth and I’ll never ever forget the time you cut your own hair with blunt, children’s scissors... but you’re also a brilliant writer and that gets my vote every time. Delighted you're here!

New to substack but not new to you. You’ve been entertaining me since the early days. In the beginning, I bought all the beauty products you recommended, then I bought all the baby stuff you recommended. Now I buy all the throws! How life changes. Heck, I even bought the green shorts. Keep writing. Love your blogs.

I found your blog waaaay back and I'm still here, educated a tad about makeup, etc., home renovations, books to read, how to be careful in the bath, etc. I enjoy your writing style. It reminds me of my own style as I write my piddling little article in our local paper. Keep up writing in Substack. I follow several others there. Thanks for your entertaining and interesting articles/blogs.
