A short and sweet little roundup of my quick makeup updates for Autumn. Generally, things in my makeup bag just get a little more sultry and warm; a tawnier bronzer (or brownish blush, depending on which way you look at it), a vampish nail colour, a stronger brow and a slightly darker-than-usual lipstick. The last update concerns radiance and is, I suppose, more particular to this Autumn than any other, because there’s a bit of a trend for matte skin. I like matte skin, but it can look a little flat and lifeless so bringing back a bit of glow with a radiance pen (I use the classic, touche éclat) is a handy little trick.
I’m going to be publishing a full video of this makeup look tomorrow, but I’m wondering whether I might not make a few tweaks. I recorded this video with the “updates” in mind, rather than the final look, and I’m not sure that I particularly like the brown eyeliner in the waterline. It’s bit hard and, if I’m completely honest, I’m not sure it’s all that flattering. What do you think? Leave it as it is or re-film with a softer, smokier eye? As always I rely on your (constructive) opinions so let me know in the comments box!
Okey dokey, on with the show. If you’re reading via email you’ll need to click here. The products I’ve used for the updates are detailed below, all of the other products used on my face will be shown in tomorrow’s video.
