Sunday Tittle Tattle: Selfish Mothers and Posing Cats

ruth crilly and baby

1) Sorry to those who are reading this on a Monday instead of a Sunday – bit of a scheduling error going on, mainly due to the fact that I have a half-functioning brain. I’m pretty sure that quite a lot of my intelligence is seeping away with my breast milk – hopefully being passed on to Baby AMR to make her into a genius who will find a cure for “baby brain”.. (My post on breastfeeding essentials is up on The Uphill, for those who are interested.)

2) Check out the t-shirt that Caroline Hirons has on in her Instagram feed. My first thought was “that’s a cool t-shirt” and my second, when I read her description below, was “ooh look, all of the profits go to a really good cause”. All profits from the sales of the Selfish Mother designs (there are loads of different vests, tees and sweatshirts) go to Women for Women International – an amazing charity that helps women in 8 war-torn regions rebuild their lives through training programmes. Excellent. I’m in – you can find their shop here, t-shirts are £30. I’ve ordered the white and neon one that CH is wearing.

3) Posing cats: this is Mr Bear telepathically flirting with me. “Hey, baby, yeah, over here baby you fancy a good time let me show you a good time baby?” You can find photos of Mr Bear and Dexter the Dog on their Instagram here.
