Sur la Table (November 2010)

In case anyone is remotely interested, here’s what’s on my bedside table (sur la table, as they say in France, which we’re not, but never mind) this month.  As you can see, there’s not a lot of room left on it – and actually, I cheated and had to remove quite a few items because the whole thing was becoming ridiculous. The items I removed were: two books, a hairbrush and a pillowcase. I realise now that they should have been left in place for authenticity, but it’s too late. Nobody will know exactly what they looked like unless I tell them, and I want to create a bit of suspense. It might be the only thing that keeps this whole exercise interesting.

To find out in detail what’s ‘sur la table’, watch the vid. There’s just one thing that I left off, for some reason – very weirdly, too, because it’s one of my favourite products on there. It’s the Caudalie Night Infusion Cream and it’s bloody lovely. As is, by the way, the Darphin Purifying Balm which is the one in the little purple box right at the front. Great for oily, problem skins – even though it’s a balm!
