Thoughts on this, pet owners: a GPS tracker for your cat or dog. There’s a new pet gadget in town and it’s called the G-Paws – as seen on The Secret Life of the Cat, which I have yet to watch. (It’s on my list: I’m waiting until I have a nice night in with a glass of red wine!) This little unit attaches to your pet’s collar and then tracks their every position when they’re roaming about. The signal is uploaded to the G-Paws website where you can “share your pet’s adventures” with others.
What do you think? Handy, I suppose, if your cat is prone to lengthy periods of roaming or if your dog escapes the leash whilst on walkies…
Not so handy for Mr Bear, who is the pet equivalent of Little Lord Fauntleroy. See top photo for Mr Bear’s default position. A GPS map of his movements would basically be a dot.
